Oh the sound of the bat on the ball... brings back so many memories of little league days gone by.
Not a 'big league' fan so much but college I like. Now my grandson (*sigh* getting too big too fast)is moved up to the real-pitch little league and we are having a blast watching his games.
Last night my son and I were having a phone conversation and he was watching a baseball game on TV. Don't tell anyone but he said he was so glad that a "real sport" was finally back in season. :-) meems @Hoe&Shovel
Happy Spring, Meems! Little League fills my heart with memories also. My husband coached until the boys started high school. Now, my oldest son is coaching. I don't know what I enjoy more, watching my grandboys or watching my son's face coach his boys :) I'm not a HUGE big league fan but I do love our TIGERS!
A fellow Tigers fan!!! (I grew up an hour south of Toledo... and when I was a kid, I wanted to be Alan Trammel when I grew up! lol.)
It's just not the same listening to baseball, though, without the wonderful sound of my boy Ernie Harwell. Oh how I loved hearing the sound of his voice on the radio every summer...
