I just looked at the calendar and realized what day it was. I don't think Americans will ever forget this terrible day and many innocent lives lost on Sept. 11. Thank you for posting this tribute to remind us all.
Joey, what a lovely tribute. It's hard no to remember exactly how we felt that day and maybe that is a good thing. To keep is so fresh in our memory so that we will always be aware of all you sacrificed so much that day and forever.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute to the 911 victims. I've always like this poem. It was read at my Dad's memorial service.

ReplyDeleteThat poem is a very touching and lovely tribute. We must never forget.
ReplyDeleteJoey, thanks for posting this lovely tribute. That was a day that will always be etched in my mind.
ReplyDeleteThank you dear all for heartfelt comments ... all frame the day, once whole, now in fragments.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it true--if we keep people in our hearts and surround ourselves with their memories, then they aren't truly gone.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful tribute. My cousin lost 130 people from her company in the first tower. She still feels guilty that she wasn't there.
It is certainly a horrible and saddening event. Let's hope that we never forget those who died.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful poem, so perfect for today.
