Joey, such a clever take on Facebook! My daughter likes to make fun of me for blogging, but she spends time on Facebook with her friends. I try to tell her they're both ways of meeting and connecting with friends.
Lovely photo of the oak leaves; I like the way you've superimposed the leaves over the tree itself. Change is certainly a part of life, so we might as well accept it and learn to deal with it, right?

Aren't daughters great, Rose? Mine encouraged me to join FB, which I did but barely visit (time crunch) though smiled when all my children's friends happily welcomed me. Indeed change is part of life, made easier through the warmth of dear family & friends.
I've only been away a few weeks, and already I'm having a little trouble catching up with you. If I sound like I'm complaining, I'm not, really. I like hanging out here, reading your quotes, paying obeisance to your amazing photography and just being thankful for good and talented friends, like you.
The photo is a perfect likeness of what Michigan has been this Fall. What a great October and Novemebr we've had; it looks like it may be coming to an end :(
