  7. Hi Beckie! She's a beauty and going strong ... another shoot appeared ... yea! She spent all last summer vacationing outside and is now thanking me :)

Very easy, Marnie ... enjoy the tarts with the balmy weather and thanks.

Indeed I am delighted, Katarina, and another shoot shot up. Now, if only my slipper orchid would bloom!
Warm wishes for a wonderful weekend also :)

Welcome Lareine ...it's always a joy when orchids rebloom ... some do, some don't. It's going to feel like summer tomorrow ... springing from 19-degress to 45, hopefully melting tons of snow!

  10. I agree with Gail simple and delicious. How is it going with your cookbook Joey?
I'm sitting in my 'summerhouse' at the moment longing for warmer days, it is still a lot of snow here and -4 degrees C.
Your collage with the lovely blooms made my think of Forsythia and spring...

    Have a nice weekend/ Tyra

  14. Nice pics of the orchid. I can't get them to rebloom for me so they would indeed be a miracle if it happened under my care.

  15. Hi Tyra! Today was balmy and beautiful ... 45-degrees :) I imagine many weeks before all the snow melts ... My cookbook is somewhat gathered in seasons here on my blog, waiting to be assembled. In the meantime, I'm heavy into finishing the final editing of my novel, DIARY OF A HO-HUM HOUSEWIFE. Stay tuned ...

Thanks for visiting, Helen. I certainly enjoyed meeting you today also ... a gift!

Hi Cindy ... really no thanks to me since I'm somewhat hard on my orchids. Once they bloom, they're kicked outside in the summer for vacation ... 'orchid camp'. Some love it ... some don't :)

It is somewhat of a miracle to me also, Mr. Brown Thumb ... some make it and some don't. I embrace the gift!
