"White ... is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black.... God paints in many colours; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white."
~ Gilbert Keith Chesterton
[British author, 1874–1936] “A Piece of Chalk,” Tremendous Trifles (1909)
Even the snow looks pretty when you photograph it! LOL Not a winter person, as you know, but the snow washed the world with white. Not too bad. If only it wasn't so cold! I just love to see pictures of your big copper garden clock.
ReplyDeleteJoey it's always such a pleasure to visit your blog. Your mosaics beckon one to spend time in quiet contemplation...beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteps I find whites difficult to photograph. Can you offer any tips? Your shots are so pretty ;)

I hear you, Robin! January is waning and spring is getting closer. I too love my photogenic garden clock, a constant reminder of time well spent in the garden.
ReplyDeleteThanks Whimsical ... fun to create. White does not seem as much of a problem as challenging red is for me! And each camera presents different color issues.
Hello, A Year ... and thank you. I have never used Foto Fusion ... do you?
