Hating to say goodbye,

heart shaped clumps of hosta cling ...

  1. What a dreary November day we have today. I don't even want to leave the house.

  4. Lovely photo, Joey! Although the hostas begin to look a little sad this time of year, this golden state is beautiful.

A gloomy day here, too, but at least I'm not feeling guilty about not finishing up all that fall garden work today:)

  7. There are heart-shaped hostas?
(This is the extent of my knowledge regarding hostas - its name).

Joey, I can certainly appreciate their beauty, almost as much as I appreciate your talent with a camera!

  8. I hate to say goodbye too. This autumn has last well beyond the norm. Love your photo of the leaves. Hadn't thought about them being like hearts, but of course, you would Joey, dear. Happy November.~~Dee

  10. Oh my goodness! I found your blog when I was researching a dried plant/weed I loved to photograph in the GA mts last week. Your photography, collages take my breath away. Never have I seen collages arrange as yours are, seriously I just kept clicking and could not leave your stunning photography. BTW I believe I was photography Queen Anne's Lace or wild carrot, but don't see a dried picture to be certain. Also, after your photography, I realized you had the most interesting recipes. So I spent more time writing notes to myself to come back and write some of those recipes down. My hat is off to you Joey. This blog is one of a kind and the BEST!
