Hi Joey, what wonderful, colorful blooms you have. I especially love the pansies, they are just so friendly! And Georgia O'Keeffe rules (I share her birthday, too!)!
ReplyDeleteGeorgia O'Keeffe had the right idea. I look on my plants as friends--or maybe more like pets;)
ReplyDeleteMarnie
Hi Joey, The Georgia O'Keefe quote is so true! All of your blooms are lovely, but I just love your pansies...beautiful! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Easter!
ReplyDeleteJoey, Your post today is beautiful! Is that by chance Viola Etain? I have a similar, if not the same one and think it is stellar! I noticed you at the Just Joey post! You have got to get that rose! Have a dlicious day....gail
ReplyDeleteI bow down to the Queen of beautiful collages!
ReplyDeleteAaah . . . .~~Dee
ReplyDeleteLovely pics !!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collages, Joey. The one of the violas looks like a stained glass window! I would imagine friends coming to your door would take time to really look at these lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteNice and colorful!
ReplyDeleteI echo what perennialgardener has just said!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images Joey - and such an apt quote too

Must tuck your birthday in my head, Monica! Love Georgia O'Keefe but you're not too shabby either, dear one :)
ReplyDeletePets/wildlife are dear friends, Marnie, and you have a gift for capturing the essence of their beauty.
Delighted to hear from you, dear Kim. Yes, indeed we had a delightful Easter as I hope you did. Looks like you're back in action ... a gift to all of us who missed you :)
Yes indeed it is 'Viola Etain', Gail. A must each year that I enjoy viewing ... close. And yes, I MUST have that rose :)
How sweet, Racquel! It was pouring rain for 2 days straight ... my containers were close :)
Thanks Dee ... if today's sunshine continues, I might catch up with you!
Thank you for visiting, Philip. You have a kind soul.
How kind, Rose. My 'post-lady' dropping mail through the door slot is my biggest fan!
Thank you, Philip ... your garden post was stunning!
Thanks Karen ... your stunning slide show put my humble post to shame!
You really have some beautiful blossoms for April Joey, thanks for sharing them with us! We had lunch in your neck of the woods Saturday, in West Bloomfield.
ReplyDeleteJoey, love the violas and the daisy. So pretty! Your collages are stunning. Thank you for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin ~ you were very close! We're east of W. Bloomfield, near Birmingham.
ReplyDeleteSo kind of you to say, dear Beckie. Now that the rain has stopped, anxious to hit the garden with my camera ... lots of good stuff goin' on :)
Hi Joey! All I can say is, "Riotous Color!" Beautiful collages... they make me want to cheer! ha. :-)
ReplyDeleteVery loud compared to my quiet back garden, Shady. Contrast is good :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jarlin ~ stay cool :)
ReplyDeletewow so many colourful blooms. is all that going on in your garden already. thanks for brighting up my day. happy spring.
ReplyDeleteThese beauties are in pots by the front door, Marmee! Today is spring beautiful and I'm heading out!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous container flowers, Joey... and a beautiful post. Love the O'Keefe quote, too. Most of my friends complain I take more time with my plants than them. They are right sometimes and I have to catch myself to get out of the garden to take time with them. Glad to hear spring has arrived.
ReplyDeleteHappy GBBD!
Meems @ Hoe and Shovel
Yummie, they are sweet as candy!
ReplyDeleteLovely and colourful collages Joey.
xoxo Tyra
What a lovely sentiment,Joey. I think I am a better friend to flowers, however, than to my friends these days. Happy Bloom day, a little late but better late than not!
ReplyDeleteOh Meems, I can't believe any of your friends ever feel neglected ... you seem to wrap your arms around the world! Thank you, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteHugs dear Tyra ... we made it!
Georgia had a way with flowers (and hopefully friends), dear jodi. Happy 'no snow' Bloom Day!
I would make time for you if you lived close by. The saying is so true--you have to make time to be a good friend. Love all the collages.
ReplyDeleteYou already know I'm a big fan of your collages, but the pansy collage made me swoon.
ReplyDeleteSuch delicate petals with their soft, ethereal colors,
breathtaking...theme music, optional.
Dear Anna, I know you and I would have fun traveling with our cameras, sharing life through your precious eyes. I'm here at the lake with Nancy, lovingly thinking of you.
ReplyDeletePansies are me, dear Marysol ... you've heard many of my stories and my special love for pansies is another :)
And I'm there with you too--camera in tow, binoculars, wading boots, sun hat, sweater--always got to have a sweater at the lake, and bring my appetite too. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat has always been one of my favorite quotes.
ReplyDeleteMichelle ... how did you find this old post! Good to hear from you ... and may all your dreams come true!
