ReplyDeleteGreat post! I lived right next door to Circa and never once had a chance to stop! Guess I was too tired after work. I have been to all the others though. Isn't Leelanau fantastic! I hope to move there permanently someday.

Oh yes, Marnie, especially the sparkling wines from L. Mawby,, perfect for the holidays. Willow Vineyard is indeed charming with a stunning view. When we were there, they were pressing grapes ... very interesting (should have included those photos)!

ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how many wineries there are on Leelanau. I've been to many, but off the ones you visited, I've only been to Mawby. So many more to visit. Just thinking about it makes me happy. Thanks for the dose of happiness.

Hello, dear Cat, and thank you for your kind thoughts. Although a trip we annually take, this year was tough with loosing my sister and running back & forth settling her estate. But we did it in her memory ... 2 short days with dear friends joining us. I post not only for myself but as a Michigan blogger, loving this state ... each wine we choose, then drink, is extra-special after visiting the beautiful vineyards, seeing/photographing the earth where grapes were grown, and visiting with the owners, in awe of how they tender the earth. And you and I both know how to honor the full moon ... toasting thoughts of each other. (BIG HUGS)
