Mmmm - stunning Joey, the photos and the the texts....I'm feeling quite soppy now -AND Himself remembered (not sure if he had a bit of help in that department, but hey!) and I found a card and gift from him under my pillow last night. Perhaps he's finding romance as he gets older :)

And that is why my pen name is Rosie.
I long to be associated with the elegance of roses but alas I lack such splendor. :)
Happy Valentine's day, Joey.
Hope it is as lovely as you!

I wish God had left his thorns behind when he drew in the roses. Some of the scents were a good idea though.

P.S. Some.

Such a lovely combination of photos and poetry, Joey. The rose has to be the epitome of beauty. My eye was caught, though, by that first edition of "The Scarlet Letter"--what a treasure! Wishing you a very happy Valentine's Day, Joey.

Dearest Joey, What a glorious bouquet you offer us your readers today. A joyous and beautifully presented posting. And, if all your wonderful photographs were not Ambrosia enough...there was the slideshow.... I have now spent far too much time being entranced by these beguiling images which really should form an Art portfolio.

Happy Valentine's Day....I am certain that the romantic dinner for two menu will be divine!
