What a wonderful duo they make, colour is fantastic and B/W so majestic.
Excellent analogy!

That just makes me miss poppies. And roses. And daisies, and lilacs, and daffodils...Well, you get the idea. Be sure to come visit my new blog address, as my old blog was lost due to someone else's fraud. Grrrrr!

Thanks dear iMac! So appreciate your comments.
Thank you, Cher. It was a fun thought! Happy Winter hugs :)
Ouch, how did that happen, Robin! Well your post was dynamic ... wonderful!
Nice contrasts and choices of color. xo Jenny
It's the shades in between that I love so much.
Great shots.

Great post, as always! I’ve awarded you the Versatile Blogger Award: http://bit.ly/yhCUbI. Congrats!
That is wild Joey! Quite the stare! Wonderful . . . as usual!
Love the side-by-side images of this gorgeous poppy.
You're so creative Joey!
I don't know which I like more--the simple but artistic black and white or the color photo. But in life, I know I'm happy there are lots of "shades in between"!
The b&w poppy is nice but I like the colored one even more.
Great treatment too in that Barebones of Winter shot - adds to the starkness.
