Blessings in life are often small and overlooked ...
Scilla siberica (Siberian squill or wood squill)
... a sure sign of spring!

It is so rare to see a true blue flower. The Siberian Squill is delicately beautiful. The angles with which you captured it truly show the smallest aspects with terrific clarity and detail. Well captured!
Thank you Shirley ... I so love this tiny beauty that seems very happy in my gardens ... even popping up in my lawn :)
So blue! Not a plant I'm familiar with, but it's stunning.
Hi Joey, i wonder why i haven't seen your posts for a while, now it seems i am new here. Anything blue is beautiful for me, we have very few blues but there are very minute weeds whose flower lengths are only maybe 4mm. I tried hard to picture them with 35mm macro and they still look so small, but yes, they are extremely overlooked.
So delicate and beautiful!!
Lovely sentiments, Joey. My first-ever squill are growing this spring, and I love them!
Hi, Joey! Love those squalls! While in northern Iowa recently. I saw yards that had been "overtaken" by them! Beautiful! I have some here... Need to get more ... But those grape hyacinths are what make themselves at home here! :-)
Wow - talk about a blessing. Gorgeous little flower !
Enjoy the days in the garden (much more enjoyable than behind a keyboard)
;>)
Spring Blessings indeed.
Joey, after losing the battle to dandelions, once again, this delicate blue flower is quite a sight for sore eyes!
