Great photos of the Scilla. I like them best when they turn a lawn into a pool of blue. They're such a fantastic color.

I agree, MMG, it's breathtaking. There is 'a pool of blue' posing under a blooming magnolia, waiting to be photographed ... how lovely is that! (now, please stop the rain)

Indeed they are, Gail. I'm always thankful that this area of my garden is very secluded and neighbors can't see me on the ground with my camera, capturing these tiny wonders :)
This is such a wonderful sight! I love Scilla and the delightful sea of blue they are massed together. Today I noticed that the Scilla foliage has appeared ~ it is funny to see the way the leaves pierce through the dead leaves on top of them. Must remove soon! Enjoy your beauties...

Besides yellow, blue/purple seems to be a predominant spring color, Nutty, so I'm happy also!

Squills are such a beautiful blue, aren't they? And Rhapsody in Blue is one of my all time favorite songs, we recently went to see it performed by the Columbus Jazz Orchestra. It was fabulous! Sure is good to see that spring has finally decided to arrive there in chilly Michigan.
Love 'Rhapsody in Blue' and my squills, Robin! The blue sings a song that I hope all would stop and listen to :)
