August garden photo,
Rose of Sharon photo
Nice post...your Rose of Sharon is beautiful~~Love the way you captured the various stages from bud to bloom...I think the buds and unfurling flowers are just as pretty if not prettier sometimes than the flower istself! And that white chocolate mousse has my mouth watering!!
I agree, Catherine ...I love watching my flowers unfurl. Wish I had time to catch them all. Since checking your site, I see we are alike. You are a dear for commenting.Regarding the white chocolate mousse, it is indeed mouth-watering and not that difficult to make. You won't be disappointed.
What a lovely series of photos of the Rose of Sharon. Reminds me of a dancer's swirling skirts.
I see what you mean, Ki ...Thanks for your comment. After a shoot in the garden, it's often amazing viewing downloaded shots. My Rose of Sharon looks so humble from afar ... that's why I love macro!
These are lovely flowers, aren't they? I always enjoy seeing the stages of bloom, too.
Great quad of these. They must be in season now... I've seen several posts on them. Nice ones!!
Great series. I always have trouble capturing Rose of Sharon flowers properly. I am very impressed.
Hey there!! I just had the distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance this evening as your server at Flemings. I just wanted to say how much you and your husband brightened my evening and that I hope you'll come back and visit in the near future. I hope everything is going well with your family and remember: a hug a day makes the world a better place!! :P - Alex email@example.com
Thank you Alex ... meeting you was a breath of fresh air. This is the first time since we saw you that I've had a chance to visit my blog. Wish I had better news but, unfortunately, things have spiraled downwards. I'm with you about hugs ... they have kept me going ...
Beautiful photography! I was just visiting another blog named 1-2-3 Go Garden!(http://kbgardenblog.blogspot.com/). I left them a note saying how much I enjoyed their pictures because they reminded me of YOUR pictures. But I like your site better because of all the great recipes. Keep up the great work.
