'SPRING FEVER' (NCAA FINAL FOUR WEEKEND)~ LOBSTER CORN DOG

It's spring fever.... You don't quite know what it is you DO want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"

I couldn't have said it better than that cutie, Mark Twain.

It's been cold and rainy here, but the rain turned my lawn green again. And this is only the beginning.

Gee, I've missed you and your glorious, no, rockin' pictures!

Happy Spring my sweet friend!

Joey, could you email me whenever you get a chance?

And how did I fail to notice the recipe for that decadent and upscale Lobster Corn Dog? Your creativity never ceases to amaze.

Thanks Joey!

Love those pretty primroses, and that lobster dish would be a real treat here!
Good luck to Detroit!
You do have great luck growing the primroses in the ground. I must try planting mine next time I have one. I meant to plant the last one but never got it done. Alas, it gave up the ghost during the winter and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.

Thanks sweet Meems ~ Detroit and all the 'berbs' are humming a hopeful spring song. Wish those that post only negative news about us would visit and understand life as it really is (we have talked, and you know). I love Michigan as you love Florida ... we both are blessed :)

Dear 'sweet' Marysol ~ yes, Mark Twain is cute and thanks for your lovely comment. And ... why is your grass turning green and not mine ... we can't be that far apart! My first memorable Lobster Corn Dog was eaten atop Coach Insignia overlooking the fabulous view of Detroit & Canada. The memory remains ... (I've noted your e-mail and have written you a note).

Hi Kerri ~ primose must seem to love me :) Actually, mine are all planted in the sunniest area of my yard, happy to awaken (often around remaining snow) to shout ... JOY!

JGH ~ indeed (you caught my post) if you had ever tasted one of these, you would crave more :)

Dear Brenda, the 'Queen of Brilliant Colors'! Thank you :)

Lobster Corn Dogs. Only from the One and Only Joey Randall! These sound like a meal in and of themselves! And a luscious one at that! You always capture the spirit of the season through so many lovely forms.

Dee, these taste espcially YUMMY eaten at Coach Insignia, overlooking the beautiful St. Marys River. Do hope OkU gals win! Last night, MI STATE was amazing!

Oh, elusive Spring, Marmee! Though yesterday was a lovely day at the nursery, my spring fever turned into chills ... 32 tonight and 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow!

Thank you, dear Kathryn ~ thought this would be a fun tribute with all the NCAA hoopla in downtown Detroit. Not my original idea but delighted to have the shared recipe. Lobster Corn Dogs (yes, a meal in themselves) are a unique signature appetizer at Coach Insignia, second highest US restaurant atop the GM Global Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit where the panoramic view of Detroit/Canada is spectacular!

The flowers are glorious as always, Joey. The recipe...NOOOOOOOOOO! (Sorry. Wife of retired lobster fisherman, and I only like lobster in sandwiches, in chowder, or in lemonjuice. But I'm sure some would love this. )

How interesting, jodi ~ you must have a treasury of delicious lobster recipes ... like chowder ... do you share! Actually, my favorite way to eat lobster is the simplest ~ a bit of drawn butter & lemon ... yum.
