EARLY NOVEMBER ~ 'Wa-gi-daa-king' (Hubbard Lake)

"A few days ago I walked along the edge of the lake
and was treated to the crunch and rustle of leaves with each step I made.
The acoustics of this season are different and all sounds,
no matter how hushed, are as crisp as autumn air. "

What a beautiful part of the world! It looks so serene. You're making me wish it was Autumn here too, and it's only Spring! :O)

The mushrooms look so fantastic growing out of the broken or cut tree limb.

joey, beautiful fall photos. love the leaves collage. i have really enjoyed the northern blogs with all the fall color since it is the only way i'll be seeing any this year. :-(

your pear crisp recipe looks delightful. i've made apple and peach crisp but not pear... i think i'll give it a try.
