Beautiful post, just perfect. We have certainly been having plenty of rain this summer, though it's been chilly and windy with it. But - the garden's blooming, and the birds are still singing to me :)

We typically get a 'dry spell' in Michigan during the hot summer months so today's welcome rain was a blessing, Wildlife Gardener.

July was extremely hot & humid as is the beginning of August. Needless to say, it's hard to keep up in the garden. But welcome butterflies still visit and the birds are still singing to me, too ... especially my adopted cardinals.
