The dead soldier's silence
sings our national anthem.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

This is FABULOUS... as always Joey!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful Memorial. After the Parade this morning I plan on working on my Veggie Garden. Hope to have new photos up soon.
Enjoy your Memorial Day.
A very fitting post for today. Too often we forget what this holiday is all about.
This is magical!

Bren, I'm at the lake reflecting on many issues. You are a dear!
Hi Rose ... Thank you. Indeed it is a significant day.
Thank you, Brenda.
I'm so glad to see some Memorial Day posts. It is a special day we all need to remember.
Thanks for your thoughtful post, Joey. My brother and brother-in-law were Korean war vets and I always remember their service on this special day.
