HARVEST TIME AT WILLOW VINEYARDS (LEELANAU PENINSULA)

"And Noah began to be a husbandman,
and he planted a vineyard."

~ Genesis 9:20

Willow Winery was established in 1992. It was and continues to be,a work of passion and love created and designed by John and Jo Crampton.
Located on a beautiful, wind-swept hillside in Suttons Bay, the panoramicviews of West Traverse Bay add to the majesty of the vineyard.
Willow produces premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pino Grisexclusively from estate or regionally grown fruit.

Thanks for sharing another lovely vineyard with us. Your mosaic of pictures is pretty.

Great mosaics, gorgeous shots. Did you get to do a tour. If you are ever in the Okanagan, in BC. Try to do the wine tour there, it is scenic, and some of the best wines in the world are made there also.

Hi Joey! I think the next time I visit Michigan it will be on a winery tour. Your photos are lovely!

Hi Joey, such a pastoral scene. I like the Noah passage too, nice touch! Those white grapes look like pearls. Ahhh how peaceful and romantic.

Thanks P.G. ~ the wine trip, as always, was wonderful and full of fun surprises.

Hi Jen ... we do this wine tour at our own pace every autumn near harvest time (this time friends joined us). I would love to visit BC wine country (googled and you are indeed right about scenic countryside) including the entire Pacific Northwest. Care to join me :)

Thanks Cindy ... even if you don't enjoy wine, the area is beautiful, full of awesome scenic drives and coastline towns.

You're so right, Frances. The trip was indeed scenic and romantic and one reason we visit often.

Hi Marmee and thank you. We both love our scenic trips ;)

Joey, I've been a little under the weather lately, but it didn't stop me from driving around last weekend and snapping pictures of our lovely state.
None of the pictures will ever make it to my blog because, let's face it, they aren't nearly as breathtaking as yours.
Besides, it gives me an excuse to drop by and harass you.

I must visit at least one of these wineries, pronto.

Do hope you are feeling better, dear Marysol ... if you are like me, I HATE being sick (and so do those around me). Perhaps you'll reconsider and post a few photos or add them on the top of a cake!
