Wonderful snow collage....we have our share here, as well, so it will be a white Christmas.

Well I don't drink but if I did that snowball martini with chocolate, espresso, and coconut sounds just delicious! Who knew vodka came in all those flavors?

Oh yes, Jan ~ 'sip and nip' holiday fun! A perfect day to post these festive 'winter solstice' treats!

Wishing you warm holidays, dear Marmee ~ this snow is something, isn't it? Seems to have followed us home from the lake (again hit with another 'lollapalooza' ... should be wonderful when we return between the holidays ... I'm waxing my cross-country skis!)

Hi Connie ~ seems like a good portion of the country will have a postcard pretty 'White Christmas'. Happy Holidays!

Vodka comes in more flavors than one can possibly imagine, Kim! Seems to be 'thee' hip drink for today ... a little goes a l-o-n-g way but fun to sip!

Hi Tyra ~ we're 'socked in' with snow! Left the lake in a snowstorm only to arrive home to embrace another! (Photos shot from inside) Enjoy these 2 fun winter cocktails (praying you get your Christmas snow, dear friend)!

Wow Joey, you did get socked! We got about 8 inches, I think, and more is falling this morning. It's a wintery wonderland! :) My, didn't you have fun with your camera? Your collage is very beautiful.
I too had no idea that Vodka came in so many flavors. Those martinis do sound good!

Bless your dear heart Joey for showing our beautiful Michigan's wonderful land and water scapes throughout the year.
Our poor State has been through some trying times this year and it seems as if the rest of the country has turned their backs on her. But Michiganders are proud, generous and optimistic people, we will surely get through all of this.
God Bless you, Joey, your family and all of Michigan.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for a wonderful and peaceful New Year.
Ann

Now let's break out that vodka;)

Indeed Cameron ... winter nights are L-O-N-G :)

And bless you, dear Ann, always so sweet offering kind words. But then, you are my Michigan friend, who also loves this amazing piece of earth. I do my best as a 'self-appointed ambassador', easy since I love this state, wherever I am ... from Detroit to the Soo!

And yes, trying times, indeed. My entire family's future resides within the heartbeat of America ... automotive (wish 'the press' portrayed 'factual facts' ... too many deaf ears). Your powerful words, 'proud, generous and optimistic', are perfect. I would so love our state to pull out of this horrific mess, and shine as the example ... "Yes, we can!"

Christmas Blessings, dear Ann, and after hitting a raw nerve, let's break out that vodka and toast ... "Happy New Year"!

Cat, it was stunning! Now, with today's rain and mild temps ... not so stunning ;( Sad we won't be leaving for the lake today because of the weather and icy conditions (can't get down our steep driveway says our dear UP NORTH neighbor :(
