So gorgeous Joey..BEAUTIFUL!!
Kiki~
Gorgeous color Joey - I do really love peonies.
Your flower fotos are so beautiful, so springy, so inviting. Are these all in your garden?
Hi Joey, My peonies opened this morning, too. You know, Nichols Arb has a whole huge display of peonies! :) Oh, Jimi says hi as he's pawing at the keyboard.
Gorgeous photos! They are so lovely. I love the poem too. Are these in your garden ? Thank you! Michelle, Vancouver Island.
Ah peonies - I can smell the fragrance already! Mine are 1 or 2 days away from bursting open - this is the only time I wish for cooler weather, just so the blooms last a little longer! Beautiful shots! and quote.
What beautiful pictures and the quote fits perfectly.
Beautiful... such vivid color and the single peonies have a wonderful personality separate from the full ones.
Joey, your photos are luscious. Do you use PhotoShop for your collages or do you have a separate program? They are always wonderful.
My peonies are just beginning to bloom. I have several in a vase here at work to enjoy.

Scarlet is one of my favorites, Kiki ... she's a beauty!
Welcome Regina and thank you.
Thanks, Kala. I adore peonies but this might be a favorite. The rest of mine are yet to bloom.
Thank you, Karen. Yes, these flowers are all in my garden.
Hi Monica. So far, this is my only peony open and fading way too fast in this horrid heat/humidity that I hate!
Thank you, Michelle. Unless stated, all flower photos are from my home/garden. My perennial garden, over 30 years in creating, is constantly changing.
Hi Rick and thanks. I'm with you and this too hot/humid weather ... too hot too soon. We wait so long for spring and would love my beloved blooms to last longer.
Thanks, dear Lindalou!
Hi sweet bay, Scarlet is nosy, my first peony to bloom and a favorite. I think she's a true beauty and very photogenic :)
Hi, Marnie, and thanks. I do have Photoshop but enjoy the ease of Picasa for collages. Scarlet is my first peony to bloom and, sadly in this heat, fading way too fast for me.
What a beauty.
Ohhh, Joey, she's a gorgeous thing. Is there a 'Rhett Butler' to go with her?
She's a beauty~gail
Miz O'Hara is a beauty! And I'm not so sure about the quote -- I sometimes think flowers do have a soul. :-)
My peonies were just coming out in the hot weather we had at the weekend .... I think they've gone back in again as it's turned cold again!
Your collage is glorious and makes my heart sing :)
WOW! That's a true beauty.
Thanks imac ... as were your tree photos!
And don't I wish, Jodi :)
Indeed she is, Gail. Wish she would stay around longer ... with that southern name, you would think she wouldn't perish so with the heat!
I think you are right, Nancy!
Shall we sing together, Nutty! Thanks dear friend :)
Thanks Cameron ... so enjoyed your last post :)
Scarlett O'Hara is the perfect name for this crimson beauty! I'm still thinking about Beecher's quote--a great sentiment.
Joey, I don't do doubles any more, cages and all that. This is a beauty and would go so well with my Krinkled White.
